Who are LuckyU?

We are located in the ancient land of ceramics, China, our store is dedicated to offering exquisite handcrafted ceramic products. Each piece is a testament to the tireless efforts of our skilled artisans.Through every stage – from the careful sculpting to the final firing – our ceramics are a labor of love, combining age-old techniques with contemporary design. Our mission is to infuse each unique piece with the warmth and passion of its creation, bringing the beauty and stories of this timeless craft into your home.

Why handmade ceramics are always expensive?

Our ceramics are priced to reflect the exquisite craftsmanship and meticulous effort that goes into creating each piece.

As purely handcrafted items, the process of making ceramics is incredibly time-intensive and laborious. It begins with shaping the clay body, followed by intricate hand-carving and coloring of the patterns. Each step demands a significant amount of time and attention from our skilled artisans.

This dedication to quality and the art of ceramics is what sets our pieces apart and justifies their value.

What is your process of making ceramics?

The process begins with selecting high-quality clay, precisely mixed to the right consistency. Our craftsmen then hand-throw the clay, meticulously sculpting and engraving elegant patterns. After designing, each ceramic undergoes a prolonged drying process, careful firing, glazing, and a final firing.

For example, our "Winter Night" and "MoonShadow" series showcases the unpredictability and natural beauty of traditional ceramic firing. Each piece is raw when placed in the kiln and fired using horsetail pine as fuel. The intensive firing process lasts five days, reaching temperatures up to 1300 degrees Celsius. This high-temperature oxidation-reduction environment in the kiln creates unique effects on each piece. After seven days of cooling post-fire, opening the kiln is like unveiling a mystery box, revealing distinct ceramics every time. Furthermore, we do not use any artificial glazes. The glaze-like effects you see on our ceramics are naturally formed during the firing process, adding to their uniqueness.
